

Do you know what "Morning Pages" are?
Several books on Mindfulness or burnout mention morning pages as a good way to clear your thoughts, help with anxiousness, and clarify your goals in life. I have been writing them on/off from around 2019. It is a nice morning routine that I do right after my morning meditation (which is only 5 minutes long as I am still a novice).
Writing gives me a chance to reorder my thoughts and prepare for the day. Sometimes writing helps me a lot, sometimes it's just another chore I "have to do". Every time I "forget" or am too busy to write for a longer period of time I notice that my thoughts are blocked and I get more anxious.
