Have you ever tried an exercise called 'Automatic Writing'? Read on if you are interested in further developing your intuition and possibly awakening your psychic abilities... This is one of my favorite ways to 'journal' and it can help you shift out of a 'I feel stuck but I'm not sure why' or simply offer a bit more clarity/opportunity to go deeper. For me, this is a common way I can 'channel' messages. Much of what I write in general does not feel like it comes from *me,* but rather, I am simply a medium to relay a message. Sometimes this message is very obviously for myself - sometimes it's for others -- but truthfully, one does not exist without the other because we are all intricately connected. Simply mirrors reflecting each other and the greater consciousness. Automatic Writing can be both a way to bring things out of your subconscious as well as a way to receive divine guidance. It's also been called 'psychography', which just means "a claimed psychic ability allowing a person to produce written words *without* consciously writing." How to begin? Do whatever you need to do to 'clear the space' - sometimes this means writing or verbally releasing the self talk. You want to be in a free, flowy, and *open* state. I almost always write pen-to-paper when I do these exercises. If typing makes more sense to you, it's not to say it 'won't work' but I will always be of the belief that the less electronic interference the better. After you feel you've released your 'self talk' - get into a quiet / meditative state. Clear your mind and allow yourself to sink deeply into your body. It helps to place your hand over your heart and take some deep breaths. Imagine your crown chakra (above the head) opening, and a white/golden light pouring through the top of head, flowing down your body, all the way to your toes - sinking deep into the earth. Set your intention, call in your guides, or simply just say "I open myself up to receive divine guidance." Now *listen* - What do you hear? Start writing and don't stop. It doesn't *need* to make sense. Allow logic to turn off, if only temporarily. We did this exercise as part one of my classes last night, so I'll share with you what I wrote. None of this has been edited, and I was fully in a state of flow, not *thinking* about what was being written. *Dedication is deliberate and daily, though wavering at times and that's okay. The important thing to remember is that you always come back to center. If you feel yourself going 'off path' - come back to center. If life is feeling overwhelming or you feel lost - come back to center. Then kindly and with no judgment, we ask ourselves earnestly, why are we here? Who and what do we feel committed to, and how do we be the embodiment of our own individual truth? There will be distractions, excitement, life, overwhelm, pain, and other obstacles that will come up and 'get in our way,' but we need to be real with ourselves about our own power of choice. What are we **allowing** to infiltrate our clarity? To pull us off path? It is only when we stay true to our center that we are able to know that **dedication is the art of diligence.** 11/16/22*
