Happy National Paranormal Day! I thought it would be fun to celebrate on here with some "boo"bies and a fun little video! Have you ever had an encounter with something not of this world? Everyone seems to have a story that they tell. The first time I visited New Orleans, I stayed in a hotel rumored to have 13 ghosts. My mom, who is into reading about ghosts, but not summoning them, was irritated with my choice to stay there, and also with my carelessness of summoning them to party with us when we got into the elevator on the first day. I never actually saw any ghosts, but some strange unexplained phenomena occurred. We stayed there for 3 nights, and every night at 3 am, my mother and I would wake up. We would both be lying there and be freezing. We both noticed that there was a strange blue hue of light, kinda like a strobe, that went from one end of the room to the next, but we couldn't find where the light was coming from. When we would go to sleep each night it wasn't there, but at 3 am when we woke for no reason, it was there. By the 3rd night, neither of us could fall asleep, but by the time 3 am rolled around, the temperature seemed to change. Call it the power of suggestion, or whatever, but this was experienced by both my mother and me, and was unexplainable. The feeling of cold and eeriness that accompanied the light along with the cold, was something I haven't felt anywhere else.
